Brief Bio on Dr. Howard Knudsen
Dr. Howard Knudsen, a Provo physical therapist, was raised in Orem, Utah. He graduated from Mountain View High School in 1988 and ten years later received a doctor of physical therapy degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.
He is an busines entrepreneur who used to sell Jolly Ranchers and Chick-O-Sticks to classmates in elementary school. Later when he seemed destined to become an engineer (like his two uncles and grandfather), he set out on an entirely different course. He was the first in his family to get a doctorate degree and become a physical therapist.
Maybe he ate too much of the candy supply to ever make a profit as a kid, but he learned early on that he loved to help others feel good.
Dr. Knudsen has traveled to Australia and Canada to study with rehabilitaiton experts. He is the only one in Utah to use ultrasound imaging to assess and re-train core muscle stability.
He has a passion for learning. He is always trying to hone his skills and seeks inspriation as he develops more effective treatment techniques for neutralizing pain and balancing the body, like Atlas Position Correction and Pain Liberation Moves.
